Wasting no time with these talkative buggies, Activa PR quickly helped spread the word about GoCar’s novel approach to sight-seeing and application of technology by securing broadcast coverage on KPIX’s Evening Magazine (San Francisco’s CBS affiliate).
Next, The New York Times featured the company and founders in a “Circuits” section cover story, tipped off by contact from Activa PR. The New York Times hit launched GoCar to more acclaim and even more coverage in national and international press including USA Today, The London Times, Travel & Leisure, Next Magazine, the BBC and The Travel Channel – all in a few short months. Capping an exhilarating year for the start-up company, the GoCar was named by Time Magazine as one of the “coolest inventions for 2004,” and was featured on The Today Show.
